This public website

This site explains Relay and its account verification process. It has no signup form, advertising trackers, or analytics cookies. AWS hosts and delivers the site and processes network information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and protect it. Emailing us shares the contents of your message and your email address with us and our email provider.

Relay account verification

When account verification is enabled in a Relay workspace, the service processes your email address, mobile number, verification state, and session information to verify your account, deliver requested codes and confirmation emails, and limit abuse. Project access is granted separately by the workspace owner. The public site currently does not accept registrations.

Service providers and storage

The planned delivery providers are AWS End User Messaging for SMS and Amazon SES for email. Delivery requires sharing the recipient address or phone number and message with the provider; SMS delivery also involves mobile network operators. Account records are stored by the self-hosted Relay workspace. We do not sell your contact information or use verification messages for advertising.

Expiry and account records

SMS codes expire after ten minutes, email confirmation links after thirty minutes, and authenticated sessions after eight hours. Expiry ends their validity; it does not imply that account records are immediately deleted. Contact the operator to request review or deletion of your account data. Records needed for security or applicable obligations may need to be retained.

Your choices

Only request verification messages for a phone number you control. You can stop requesting codes at any time. For access, correction, or deletion requests, email the operator. Identity verification may be necessary before a request can be fulfilled.
